Our Very First Thanksgiving in Soho
With life being a constant buzz of places to be, meetings to catch, events to attend, and schedules to fill, an opportunity to sit around a table with no agenda other than enjoying the ones we love is precious. Because of this, Thanksgiving, just as much as Christmas, is the perfect time to pay extra attention to the aesthetic of your table, as something as simple as adding a flower display can elevate the experience for your favorite, gathered people.
This Thanksgiving marked the first for the Julia Testa Soho store, inciting excited preparation for the day. To celebrate the holiday and encourage members of the community to explore the store, the Testa team filled buckets outside the doors with fresh, fall-toned arrangements ready to be taken home and enjoyed. On a day where time spent away from family, friends, and food is time lost, Julia Testa wanted the flower-buying experience to be as efficient as possible, with a bounty of arrangements and styles ready to choose from, without the traditional wait times of custom orders.
Additionally, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, the store welcomed Scout Ford Music, an a capella, doo-wop, and Motown soul group to sing outside the shop. They featured song classics from BB king, The Doobie Brothers and more, bringing light and happiness to Thompson Street.
Not one person walked by Julia Testa SoHo without a smile on their face, making the store’s very first Thanksgiving one for the books.
