Substitution Policy

In some instances, our photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase that cannot be exactly replicated.

Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers and/or containers happen due to weather, seasonality, and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you’ve received, we will ensure that the style, theme, and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal value or higher value.

If any design elements are of major importance to your order, please include them in the florist instructions at checkout or contact us to ensure availability.

Authorized Representatives vs. Prohibited Intermediaries

We recognize that many of our clients work with trusted human assistants, household staff, or concierge teams to place orders on their behalf. We are happy to work with these authorized representatives when the following conditions are met.

Our intent is not to limit how our clients work with their trusted teams, but to protect against misuse, fraud, and automated ordering systems that do not allow for clear communication or accountability.

Authorized Representatives (Permitted)

We consider the following to be authorized representatives, and orders placed by them are accepted under our policies:

Full-time or part-time personal or executive assistants

Household staff acting at the direction of the client

Established concierge services engaged by the client on an ongoing basis

Other human agents with a direct, ongoing relationship to the end customer

Orders placed by authorized representatives are treated as if they were placed by the end customer, provided that:

The representative is acting under the customer’s direction

The order information is accurate and complete

A valid payment method authorized by the end customer is used

Prohibited Intermediaries (Not Accepted)

We do not accept orders placed by the following, whether acting independently or on behalf of another party:

Automated or AI-based assistants, bots, or software tools

Applications or platforms offering “assistant,” “concierge,” or “agent” services without a dedicated human point of contact

Task-based labor platforms (including but not limited to courier or errand services, gig workers, or day labor hired solely to place or relay an order)

Any third party acting without an established, ongoing relationship to the end customerOrders placed through these prohibited intermediaries are not supported by our policies.

Policy Limitations for Prohibited Intermediary Orders

Orders determined, at our sole discretion, to have been placed through a prohibited intermediary are:

Not eligible for refunds, replacements, store credits, or adjustments

Not eligible for post-purchase support or dispute resolution

Fulfilled, modified, or canceled at our discretion

Any issues must be resolved directly between the end customer and the intermediary used to place the order.

Right to Review & Refuse

We reserve the right to request clarification regarding the identity or role of a representative placing an order, and to refuse service if we believe an order was placed using an unauthorized or automated intermediary.

Prohibition on Order Resale, Brokerage, and Subcontracting

We do not accept brokered, resold, or subcontracted orders.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Internet-based flower ordering platforms

Order aggregation or “order-taking” services

Marketing or lead-generation companies placing orders on behalf of an end customer

Other florists or floral businesses outsourcing fulfillment to us

Any third party that captures payment from the end customer and then places an order with us at a reduced rate

No Order Arbitrage or Markups

Our work is priced and produced as a direct-to-client retail service. We do not participate in order arbitrage, markup concealment, or third-party resale models. If an intermediary collects payment from an end customer and retains a portion of that payment, we consider that order ineligible unless there is a prior written agreement explicitly authorizing such an arrangement.

Brand Representation & Pricing Integrity

When a third party places an order with us after collecting a higher amount from the end customer, it creates a misalignment between:

The price paid by the end customer, and

The scope, scale, and quality of work we are contracted to provide

For this reason, we do not allow our work to be sold, resold, or represented at prices or terms not set directly by us.

No Support or Remedial Actions for Brokered Orders

Orders identified as brokered, resold, or subcontracted are:

Not eligible for refunds, replacements, store credits, or adjustments

Not eligible for post-purchase support or dispute resolution

Subject to cancellation or refusal at our discretion

Any disputes must be resolved directly between the end customer and the intermediary who collected payment.

Written Agreement Requirement

The only exception to this policy is where a written partnership, wholesale, or fulfillment agreement has been executed in advance with our company. Absent such an agreement, no third party is authorized to place orders on our behalf orresell our work.

We do not fulfill orders placed by third parties who resell, broker, or subcontract our services, including internet order-taking platforms or other florists, unless expressly authorized in writing.
